How the Reifkinds "Roll"

Yesterday was a great day! Mark and I, along with Dave "The Irontamer" Whitley, did an all day workshop together that was also video taped for production....woo hoo what a blast!

Anyway, here's a photo of me and Mark "foam rollering" as we listened to one of Dave's presentations and someone jokingly said, "Well I guess this is how the Reifkinds 'roll'!". I thought that was funny so I had him take a picture....more to come, lots more but I'm late for yoga this morning.....

Hon

you really nailed your presentation this weekend! I couldn't be more proud of you and can't wait to see the DVD! Finally, your methods and system will get the attention they deserve. and yes, this is how we roll, lol.

love you.

I attended your seminar yesterday, and you did nail it. So many seminars seem to be "talk" not "do" and you blew that out of the water. It was substantive and inspiring and a number of us attendees can't wait for the video. You more than held your own in the company of world-class presenters and I'd do that again in a cold second. THANKS.

dbt1959,

thank you so much for your comment....but you can do it again any Saturday @ Girya in Palo Alto! LOL!

What I did at the workshop is just the "tip of the iceberg" compared to my Swing classes!

Also, thank you for recognizing the fact that I was thrown in with the wolves, having to present inbetween two RKC Master Instructors.....it's like having to be an "opening act" for the real talent, LOL!

But if there's one thing I know....it's how to Swing....alot!

Tina,

The DVD will be a workout in itself, in addition to explaining how you can "Program the Kettlebell Swing" for yourself.

I didn't have nearly enough time, but that just leaves plenty of room for my book and more DVD's, including work along with, and potentially, webcasting my workouts.

A series of dvds would be great, each one building on the last or several 30 minute workouts on each dvd. People who workout mainly with dvds like lots of variety, so a series of DVDS would be awesome. Some people just need to feel like they are in a class even though they workout at home. I'm one of them. But using the same dvd over and over gets old really fast. Same music, same set, same dialogue. I'm already asking you for more dvds and I don't have the first one yet : )

Online classes would be really great too!

What fun!!!

I'm sure "doing" your DVD won't be!! lol

Tina,

You describe exactly the problem with work alond videos....there's no variety....I've got a few ideas though...

That's the main reason for the idea of webcasting my classes as, like my own workouts, they're never the same twice....variations of the same theme, of course, but never the same exact workout.

Diana,

You won't have any problem with the workout on this DVD, since you already train along to my workouts (wait until you see, of hear, everyone else gassing out, you'll love it, lol!).

It will help you train your clients/students, and that was what the workshop was about. Programming and Training the KB Swing, for yourself, or your clients.

I re-did that snatch ladder workout from last week that I "over-killed" on this morning. Nice touch with that 30 second interval. Shit, some sets I had barely 5 seconds to spare! Great ass-kicker! Love the opportunity to snatch that 16kg!

Tracy Reifkind said...

Diana....nice!

file it away because it's a good one! I made a few changes to make it harder....maybe I'll share it some day....but I can always make it harder....

I'm with you, testing our 16kg snatch, not training, but testing reps and pace can actually be refreshing!

leslie,

I'll be posting a video clip later today...

Lululemon comped me my whole outfit that day for the taping,(jacket, pants and t-shirt) and my local store may carry my video!
