Overweight since childhood,I spent most of my 30's tipping the scales around 250lbs. At age 41 I took charge of feeding myself by preparing all of my own meals, no more fast foods! I created a way to use my love of cooking, food, and eating to permanently lose over 100lbs. During this time I discovered kettlebells and my own style of training The Kettlebell Swing, bringing out my inner athlete and erasing all signs of former lifelong obesity. It's never too late, YOU CAN DO IT!

I'll be back...
I want to apologize for not posting much lately and I promise to get back to comments and emails asap. I taped a couple of workouts yesterday and I've got some opinions about starting that weight loss diet....
But priorities, like my granddaughter come first and since I've been cooking all morning if I'm going to make it to yoga I've got to go...
A couple of short posts and a video on my facebook fan page in the mean time, and I'll be back soon!

Tracy, i have your book and I love it. I really enjoy my KB swinging.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Primal Blueprint diet? It is a form of paleo, but allows dairy. Delicious. I have lost weight easily and grown lovely muscles by eating this way. I'll never go back.

Mel,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Swings and a good nutritional diet is an unbeatable combination!
I have to say that the last post on sw/sn's came at a good time. Like I posted, I cut my right hand, dominate hand, and got 5 stitches, so I'm doing that last practice you posted w/ my left hand only.
ReplyDeleteIt's challenging, but doable, scaleable, and when I can sw w/ my right hand again, I won't be out of practice. Maybe a little imbalanced, but I can get that back. Thanks again BossLady!
Family first....your grandbaby is a cutie!!!!
