Coming Home to Freedom

I need to start to journal all the inspirational stuff that happens to me on trips.  Each time I am away from home I'm forced to live outside of my comfort zone.  The comfort of routine, the comfort of familiarity, the comfort of freedom of choice!

I really don't know how people that travel a lot do it!  There must be something I'm missing, lol  But for now I'm back home on my computer, at my dining table, eating my leftover quitatta and some yogurt with rice and lime...ah...heading for a nap now....

Free....

  1. Welcome home!

Did you take food with you on the plane this time? Did you have any problems? Thank you for your ideas for us. I'm for sure going to take "Salad on a Stick"(tm), and some grilled chicken. Just wanted to see if you ran into any problems with the TSA.

(I'm not much of a traveler.. I like my Freedom at home too!!)

  2. Welcome home! I just landed in Indiana and brought some food with me - I too feel like I am stuck with hotel food for the next 2 days....deepika

  3. Hi Jen,

Yep, I ended up taking quite a few meals.

pate and apple. I find that I can get pate through security.

    meatloaf

    eggs and veg (quitatta)

I can also get about a 2 tbl serving of peanut butter.

    fruit, of course.

I find that when I pack food in the small plastic "deli" containers from the store I never get questioned about my food.

There are actually a few good options for purchase, but if you've got stuff in your fridge just pack some!

  4. Deepika,

I find that it's the unusual schedule of events on trips that makes the regularity of my eating off. Working on it, and it gets better and better all the time!

  5. Thanks Tracy.. I'm saving up my deli containers for our trip. California food going and it will be fun repacking the containers from Hawaii! Lucky me! :)

  7. Guy,

I did incorporate power swings into Fawn's class. I have a workout I call "Fast Forward", and since I did a variation using PWSw's I may have to rename it to "Power Forward", lol

My Flip decided to die the morning of, and I don't know how to edit the video I took with my Ipad yet.

Part of the problem is that I never know how much of the workout video to post. The whole thing?
