OK, maybe I'm just being a bit dramatic about the "top secret" thing.... But here I am, a 47 year old woman, scaling a ladder up the side of a building to the rooftop....kettlebell in tow....is this a crazy life, or what? Over the past few weeks time I had my first DVD released, did a number of radio interviews and podcasts, and now a roof?
I got the chance to be part of something really special this morning, but it's a bit premature to talk about the details. What a blast though....and it's just the beginning.
Damn, I thought you were hanging off a helicopter or something!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, top secret-I hate secrets!
You have lots of energy-you need to do skydive! I'm sure they'd let you take your favorite kb along for the ride!
PS-Sweeeeeeeeeeeet shoes!
ReplyDeleteDiana,
ReplyDeleteThere is no freakin' way I will ever jump out of a plane....don't need to!
But I totally respect anyone that does! That takes bigger balls than the ones you are holding onto in your picture!
I would hang from a helicopter though....just not let go!
I do jump out of aeroplanes :)
ReplyDeleteYes it is scary - at first. Afterwards it's just thrilling :) The biggest fun in life. You just can't stop smiling for a week.
Not to mention that when leaning into the open door of the plane at 12000 feet high, you suddenly see what is worth to worry about and what is not :)
Anyway, I came to say that your picture with the ladder is so cute, I love it!

I gotta agree with Juci on the part of what is worth worrying about-that is soooooo true when hanging out that open door!
I will NEVER, NEVER look at clouds and the sky the same again!
Came up with another nice little swing/snatch combo this morning! It was fun, but due to a cold I cut it way shorter than I normally would have. Good lord, your "style" is just engraved into my brain when you look at what I do for workouts!
I think that's a compliment! ;)
Still not doing it.....I'm still smiling from yesterday, probably because I didn't have to jump out of a plane, lol!
ReplyDeleteJuci, thanks for the compliment on the photo!
Diana, The biggest compliment for a teacher is when a student goes out on their own and uses the lessons learned. So of course I take it as such.
I'm really hoping this is some filming for a follow along workout DVD I think I've seen you hinting at :)
ReplyDeleteMorkai,
ReplyDeleteTrain along DVD's area a comin'!
Thanks for your support.
